Our topic this term is all about designing and running a virtual underwater theme park. All of out maths, literacy, science, DT, art, music and geography will be into this project.
So far we have designed our islands using geographical mapping symbols, later on we will be calculating the area and perimeter of our islands.
We made a clay mountain and placed it on our islands, we had to produce accurate contour lines to show the height of our mountain.
In DT we are designing and making the rides for our theme park. They must contain a series of cogs. Check out our pictures to find out how we got on making simple cog systems.
